Who we are
Skillentials was founded by Sarita Mehra Pandey and Vikas Kumar. Both spent years inside international corporates before starting the firm, and both saw the same gap: organisations needed behavioural training that actually changed behaviour, and most of what was on offer was a slide deck with a facilitator attached.
We built Skillentials to close that gap. Every programme we run is bespoke, and none of them are PPT-led.
How we work
Our methodology rests on four ideas: Experience, Immersion, Reflection and Group Wisdom.
People learn by doing something, being fully in it, stepping back to make sense of it, and hearing how others made sense of it too. So our sessions are built around activity and debrief rather than instruction. We use visual, auditory and kinaesthetic methods so that learning lands with every kind of learner, and holds after the session ends.
What we do
Trainings. Programmes across leadership development, executive presence, emotional assertiveness, team building and collaboration, decision making, innovation and critical thinking, selling and negotiation, customer service, workplace and professional etiquette, DEI and PoSH, finance for non-finance, and Excel, BI tools and AI. We also run assessment centres.
Consulting and OD. End-to-end OD and HR consulting by seasoned professionals with expertise in HR, IR and best practice. That includes formulating, reviewing and benchmarking HR policies; designing organisational structures, roles, KPIs, KRAs and succession plans; organisational assessment and diagnostics; and cultural transformation aligned to an organisation’s vision, mission and values.
Aarohan: leadership coaching. Aarohan means “ascent”. It is our deep-work coaching programme for leaders, professionals and young achievers who want to understand what drives them, reframe the patterns that hold them back, and build a lasting sense of control. Our coaches are established practitioners, NLP Practitioners and ICF Certified.
Tvisha: our signature two-day workshop. A reflective alternative to outbound training that combines travel with deep learning about self, work and relationships, through art, treks, pottery, food, meditation, movement, journaling and gratitude practice. The open retreat is for women; Corporate Tvisha is open to all teams, with light customisation to meet the client’s learning outcomes.
The founders
Sarita Mehra Pandey is a Certified Behavioural Facilitrainer, a PoSH Enabler and a Fellow Chartered Accountant. Before Skillentials she worked with Dow, Rohm & Haas, Saint-Gobain, Diageo and Castrol India.
Vikas Kumar is also the founder of Purechase. His corporate career includes Dow, Rohm & Haas, Symrise and Tamil Nadu Petroproducts.
